2010 Spring Leadership Conference

On Saturday, January 30, 2010, from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm, the Center for Student Involvement, Panhellenic Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, and Interfraternity Council will be hosting the 2010 Spring Leadership Conference for new chapter officers in the Student Center KIVA. This conference will include a leadership keynote address, as well as several “training track” sessions that will provide resources and training to several of your chapter officers.

The members from each chapter that will be required to attend the conference will be:

  • Presidents
  • New Member Educators
  • Recruitment Chairs
  • Risk Management Chairs
  • Social Chairs
  • Scholarship Chairs
  • Treasurers
  • 2 Sophomore Emerging Leaders
  • 2 Freshman Emerging Leaders

If one of these members is unavailable to attend the conference, another member of your chapter should be selected to attend in their place, to take notes and bring information back to the missing representative.  If your chapter does not have one of these positions in your chapter, you can select another officer whose responsibilities most closely relate to the positions above.

Please e-mail Teniell Trolian, Assistant Director for Greek Affairs, at ttrolian@kent.edu by January 20th with the names, titles, and e-mail addresses of the officers from your chapter who will be in attendance. We will use this information to print conference materials and to have a food count for the snacks/beverages that will be available to all participants.
